"Alien vs. Wild"

Films: Man Vs. (2015)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: How many of those "man stays for a while in the wilderness" shows do you remember? As far as we're concerned, there's no way any of those guys were actually surviving, considering there was a whole film crew probably camping out a couple feet away. But here, there is no film crew, no pay, and more importantly, no way to escape the unknown.

History: The stage is a sprawling Canadian forest. The man is a survivalist just shooting an episode of him faffing away there. But then he hears a crash. Then he realizes he's not alone here. Then said other resident turns out to be a dangerous alien that seems hellbent on killing him. And everyone else who dares enter these woods. It could very well be this man's final episode.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After seemingly killing the alien with a pit and lots of rocks, the man realizes that the whole world is being overrun with the invaders. Then the main one shows up again to get disemboweled by a rotary blade. The man can now only watch as hundreds of them descend from the stars...

Powers/Abilities: Insane durability, as well as the ability to send out a sonic soundwave able to knock foes several feet away.

Weakness: Heavy artillery, but the chest is the primary weak spot.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-As an effect, the CGI isn't quite the greatest, but it's a step above the typical Syfy fare. There's also the fact that it was an extremely persistent and agile techno-organic creature that could take several boulders to the head and still come back with just a limp. And that's before we learn that it's essentially just a ground soldier.

Trivia: -The alien's motion capture was done by Constantine Meglis, who also helped with the technical side of things for this film.

-This film takes place in the Rockwood Conservation Area of Ontario.

It's both actual reality and not reality TV now.

"Look down? Why would I do that?"
As his introductory gift shown here displays.
"Let's start off slow. Surely, this washed-up fool will count.
It came in spirit...the hunting spirit.
